Summary: When I transferred a number of MP3 files that I had previously stored on an 8GB Lexar USB Flash Drive to the 16GB PNY USB Flash Drive I could not get the tunes on the drive to play when I plugged the PNY flash drive into the USB port for my 2016 Toyota RAV 4 sound system.
Summary: A friend had ordered one of these for me as a Christmas gift. My 1 start is because after two days the insides of the flash drive fell out. So, as I said, it was a Christmas gift and it just arrived last week.
Summary: Trying to transfer data at a write speed of about 3-5 mb/s is like driving 3-5 mph in a car. Tested on separate PCs running Win 10 and Win7. I have flash drives from years ago running faster than this garbage.
Summary: I bought a total of 4 2=16gb and 2=32gb and my computer would not pick them up,I tried them on 3 towers and a lap top, same problem. I contacted PNY customer service ,and offered to send them back so they could find out what went wrong with that batch and they would not even respond to me, I have...
Summary: it won't load onto either of my computers, keeps saying insert disk, it shows that something is in my usb port but when I click on it it says that I need to insert the disk, which is dumb because if the disk weren't in the port it wouldn't show that there was a port.
Excerpt: I bought 10 of these to pass out to family & friends on Christmas.
I grabbed a couple for myself as well.
BIG WASTE OF MONEY. BIG WASTE.
The ones I got for myself, were to save games from my XBOX.
XBOX automatically checks it to see if it will handle the read & write speeds. It also formats it.
Cons: purchased two of them one died right away RMA by new egg (thank you) then the other one died the one that was RMA died shortly also so between the two and one replacement I got a total of 4 weeks use from all three
