Summary: I used this a few times at home. Then I took it to work. Inserted it fewer than half a dozen times. The plastic tongue inside the metal housing slid back. Computer doesn't see it. Luckily I didn't have data on it, but it wasted my time.
Summary: The year is 2015. You'd think cheap flash drives would be of some decent quality. I mean, we've had years to perfect them and the prices have dropped substantially, but this one doesn't merge "cheap" and "decent". It's garbage. For one thing, it was having some issues accepting how large it was.
Cons: DOA, didn't work for 3 days. tried over 10 different computers, laptops, servers etc. NOTTA! I'll stick with Sandisk from now on! Never PNY ever again. I can't see how they sell this trash at retailers. I could see getting ripped off if I bought it from China on E-bay.

Summary: Worked OK for a little while, but as others have mentioned, after writing a bit to it, I started to get "device is write protected" errors. It doesn't matter what I do with it now, this message simply won't go away. Windows XP, 7, 8.1, Ubuntu Linux, Mint - none of them are able to format it.
