Summary: So far it works well, I like how small it is. However the color is actually a polished finish. I thought it was grey, and because of that, I will not buy this product again. I work in an industrial inviroment with CNC machines and with all the oils I personally need something with a coating type finish.
Summary: No it's not the fastest or largest thumb drive out there, but that isn't the biggest concern; this device has the potential to damage your USB ports. It nearly destroyed mine. The leading edges of most encased USB device circuit boards (any USB device having an applied case protecting/obscuring the connection pads) are eased during manufacturing to ensure that the device has enough play to easily seat into the port.
Summary: i did the memory check to it is the true capacity, which is great. have been burned before with fake capacity and corrupt data. only problem is the plastic tip seems as if it could break after a while. needs to be sturdier. also the key hole is an odd shape and doesn't move freely on key chains/rings.
Summary: The drive itself works great. I absolutely love the small size and that there's no cap. However, I'm really disappointed in the casing. The plastic on the part you actually plug in is really thin. I keep mine on my keys, which I drop from time to time, or toss to my husband, or shove in my pocket or purse. I've had the drive a couple months now and noticed a chip in the end a week or so ago. Today I realized the entire part you plug in is cracked.
Summary: I picked this USB around July 2012 when I bought my younger brother his laptop and still performs flawlessly. As the other user who tried using using it on Windows 7 well luckily I haven't had to deal with that type of problem. However I can agree that the hole for the key ring is too small it's a major pain to get it in. But look at the bright side. Now I don't have to worry about losing it.
Excerpt: Something is a problem with the PNY flash drives in that they cause a reboot if pugged in at startup. However, unlike the other PNY I purchased, this seems to work fine in my car's USB port. Compare rating to the Kingston flash which I also purchased. My Kingston flashes all work flawlessly, unlike the PNYs. All the flash drives were priced well, which was a major factor in my purchases. But I think I'll stick to the Kingston or manufacturers other than PNY.
