Pros: Nice design. It has a built in spring that allows for easy access. This also allows for added protection for the head of the flash drive and you don't have to worry about losing the cap anywhere. For the capacity and USB 3.0 speeds, wasn't a bad price either. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a nicely sized flash drive.
Summary: Been in use for several months, reliably transferring files between various home computers. Not the fastest USB drive but your patience won't suffer too much, if you plan and allocate a bit of time for your data transfers.
Stuck in write protected mode, maybe counterfeit, not sure

Summary: I was able to transfer some files on to it, but it is now saying that it is "Write Protected" and I can't do anything with it. There is no physical write protection switch or lock, so that's not the issue. I went through online tutorials on how to force it out of being Write Protected (including some command line process) and the end of the tutorial said "if that fails, then you probably have a counterfeit usb flash drive".
Gets the job done, but I can't get it to transfer at full speed.

Summary: It gets the job done, but I can't get it to transfer at full speed. I use Windows 8.1 on a motherboard with USB 3.0 and the correct drivers installed with an SSD, it wouldn't break 5 MB/s. Frustrating, but not a deal breaker, this drive isn't exactly expensive after all.
Summary: The drive is fast, and worked very well on both my Mac and PC in USB 3.0. The case quality seem to need a lot of improvement. In less than 30 days, the retractable springs stopped working. In less than 30 days, the hole for the lanyard broke. Almost lost the drive... Other than the above case issue, the drive operates well.
Pros: Works flawlessly. Retractable cap. Excellent customer service (which I consider to be part of the overall brand "experience".) See review of Jan 23 for initial problem. Had to return item. Patriot sent me an immediate RMA with no push-back as did Newegg. I chose Newegg because Patriot wanted me to pay for shipping whereas Newegg provided the pre-paid shipping label. Got replacemenrt within 5 days and all good now. Product does indeed hold 128GBs (some counterfeits do ...
Summary: The device works as advertised, but the part where you attach it to a key ring is made of plastic, so it's fragile. Mine broke when a friend pulled on the keys it was attached to, just trying to take it out of a computer.
