OUTSTANDING performance

Michael G., Newegg
29 September 2014
  • Summary: There are many drives that cost less, but when performance is weighed to cost, this is an AWESOME buy
  • Pros: Incredible speeds. Beyond stated specs. Consistent read speeds between 180 and 190 Consistent write speeds between 84 and 90
  • Cons: the retraction mechanism is a little dodgy, but with the performance and cost, will be happy to live with it.

Great drive!

Jason McIntosh, Amazon
27 September 2014
  • Summary: This was my first USB 3.0 drive and I am very impressed with the speeds! My average is around 40 MB/s depending on the type of files being transferred. The compact size makes it nice to transport and there is no cap to worry about losing! I have been very careful with it and it has not been exposed to any moisture or dust/dirty conditions yet so I can't comment on the durability as of now.

Crashed Within a Year

Bill Blackburn, Amazon
8 September 2014
  • Summary: I've had this flash drive almost a year & it became unreadable today. I was able to reformat it but lost all data I had stored on it. Thankfully I'd backed up its contents. Hope it lasts 3 more days until I get home. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because it did work okay, & was pretty fast, before crashing. Just ordered a SanDisk flash drive to replace it. I've always had good fortunes with SanDisk memory products.

My data courier between work and home, trusted with my most valuable files.

Jeffery L. Smith "Jeffery Smith", Amazon
5 September 2014
  • Summary: Patriots are fast, durable, and reliable USB drives. I have about 12 gb of files in a folder on my desktop, and use FolderWatch to mirror it on Dropbox and to my Patriot 32GB Rage. At the end of the day, the Patriot goes in my backpack to home. No glitches or issues using the workflow.

0 are super helpful for transferring data between computers in a hurry

biafra, Amazon
7 August 2014
  • Summary: This key is a beast. The transfer speeds over USB 3.0 are super helpful for transferring data between computers in a hurry. It is also built sturdy, I've sat on it several times after putting it in my back pocket and it doesn't seem phased. Wasn't sure about the sliding cover used for protection, but it has worked surprisingly well. Highly recommended.

Great performance, lousy sliding cover

C. Morrow, Amazon
2 August 2014
  • Summary: Great performance on this flash drive, but the sliding cover might as well not be there. It slides up too easily and when in my pocket it generally is not covered. Also the keyring hole is too wide.

good thumb drive or zip drive

D. L. Cillo "Dan", Amazon
14 July 2014
  • Summary: I like these. I stick one in the computer, create a folder with the date and copy my files into it. Instant backup. I bought extra so when one fills up the next is ready to use. USB-3 is fast and efficient. Takes less than 10 minutes.
