nothing bad about it

elisa, FutureShop
3 September 2011
  • Summary: I bought this in store, without reading any reviews on it in jan 2010 or april 2010. I am still using it. It works fine for me. I don't know if this is fast but 1.4GB(like 2-3 movies) can transfer in about 4 minutes. I mostly use it for school. I think the people who gave bad reviews just got unlucky.

Not as worthy as others have said...

Nelson, FutureShop
9 May 2011
  • Summary: I'm probably one out of the thousands of others to write up a negative review about this product... The positive side at least, it lasted longer than others have... The most negatives is, right now, after having it for almost four months, it decides to be unrecognized, and it takes so much time to transfer files I had on one computer, to this device, and try to transfer those files onto another computer.

This sucks!

Tina, FutureShop
3 April 2011
  • Summary: I bought this drive less than 2 months ago.. it decided to crap out. I tried to save my data to my drive and computer..to no avail. The drive was wiped clean. Nada nothing left... all my data gone. I tried several computers (even got some techno geeks to look at it) and nothing. All computers saw the unit, but still asked for the drive to be plugged in, when it didn't do that it just plain did get recognized.

Extremely Upset

Rebecca, FutureShop
4 March 2011
  • Summary: I have had this device just under 2 months and it seems to have gone on early retirement. I was just going to resize the few hundred old family photos I spent the other afternoon scanning at a relatives home- all for nothing. I am very disappointed in this product and obviously I am not the only person. What a piece of garbage and a complete waste of money.

Reeeeally Slow

Tim, FutureShop
6 January 2011
  • Summary: I have had this drive for about a week now. It is incredibly slow. Occasionally it will just hang when attempting an operation on the drive. This drive is pretty much disposable. I really should have checked the reviews on this before purchasing. Future Shop should be ashamed to still be selling them.

Garbage

BK, FutureShop
19 July 2010
  • Summary: The quality of this device is inferior, and I know what quality USB products look like because I was involved in Q&R of USB devices at my company. Stopped working properly after 2 weeks due to poor build durability and inferior (cheap) USB connector. A product like this was not properly tested or it was rushed to manufacturing. Steer clear of Lexar.

Don't waste your money

jetgirl22, FutureShop
19 July 2010
  • Summary: Like the other reviews, I've had this drive for less than three months and it's already garbage. Half the time it isn't recognized by the computers I plug it into, or when it is running it works slowly if at all. Never had this happen with any other USB drives and I can't believe FutureShop is still selling them.

Adrian, FutureShop
23 June 2010
  • Summary: USB Drive started to malfunction after about 2 months of use... it still worked but would occasionally not be recognized, 2 months after that it is no longer working at all... Plug it in and nothing, drivers and everything else are working fine. Will never again purchase from Lexar.
