Great Drive

Christopher O., Newegg
4 January 2015
  • Summary: I got this from a Black Friday deal a few years ago and I still use it today to transport small files. It is only 8GB but the capacity meter is so cool. It shows how much of the drive space is available at a glance. People always comment on it and ask me where I got it.

Work Great!

Frank C., Newegg

  • Pros: Lexar makes some great USB drives. I bought 5 of these on sale with Newegg over two years ago, and all 5 work wonderfully to this day. I have put them to use as bootable drives, storage and transfer, and for ReadyBoost. Never a single problem.

  • Summary: At almost $2.00 a GB. you would expect a class act, an really so considering the title "Lexar JumpDrive Secure II Plus 8GB. Drive"But Turned into a noclass Drive after only 4 months of litte use. Emailed Lexar 4 days ago with no reply. I can see now why the Egg Deactivated this drive.
  • Pros: Bought 2 of these Lexar JumpDrive Secure II Plus 8GB. Drives in Oct.2011 ,I was Happy with how they worked on Win.7,Win XP and Mac OS-X. Not one complaint up to January 2012.

No idea, the rest of the word doc.'s and other files are gone. Then about 4 days later the 2nd. one started acting up, the display o...

Lexar JumpDrive Secure II Plus 8GB

Jan B., Newegg
12 November 2011
  • Summary: The screen is very vulnerable to scratches, and even though it comes with a temporary protective film, I would say that getting a protective film for the small screen would be a good thing.
  • Pros: Made of high quality plastic, looks good, allows for key ring attachment, feels fairly durable, the lid holds on tight and the screen is useful. I also like the fact that the screen works for weeks of not receiving any power whatsoever.
  • Cons: The lid holds on a little too tight. (Not that this is a bad thing, but sometimes it is rather challenging getting the lid off.)
