Summary: I'll admit I mostly bought it because it was called "FireFly." I would have also purchased it if it was named "Serenity." That said, it's a good little thumb drive, although it would be extremely easy to lose if you aren't especially careful. It is very small and the cover isn't attached to the drive, which can also be a problem. Other than that, it's fine as a bit of extra memory.
nice and fast. get the 8gb if you can instead though

Summary: still going strong. this thing is fast. should have bought the 8gb version. I bought an os off this thing and it works great. the Duracell 16gb on the other hand is trash, like the smelly wet trash that's been sitting for awhile out back.
Summary: Like many others, I like to carry my jump drives on my keychain. However, this can often be extremely inconvenient, as on most models the flash drive itself is attached to the keychain and you have your keys dangling off the side of your computer. This Lexar Firefly is the PERFECT solution for that problem. Instead of the flash drive being attached to the keychain, the clear plastic cap attaches to the key ring and the flash drive snaps in.
Summary: The look of this drive is not bad, but the copy speed is somewhat slow: for a simple copy of a large file, the speed is: Write: 6.5MB/s Read: 25MB/s I like the Patriot ones which is more than 3 times the write speed of this one.
Summary: I ordered this thumb drive with one goal in hand, being able to have a several 1080p movies available to easily play on my WD TV Live or computer as needed. Fill this need very well. Capacity is excellent, has the Lexar quality to boot, and is very compact. Pros: size is great, big enough to grip, but still compact and un-obtusive. The cap fits very tightly, but is not difficult to remove. When reading or writing to the drive, the LED is prominent and easy to see.
Summary: Title says it all. I use it to transfer digital content from my computer to hdtv. I've not had a problem watching any HD content from the drive on the tv or computer. However, it's quite slow when writing to the drive. Typically, if I'm transferring a 1GB file I'll have to go do something else and come back in 5 minutes to see if the upload is done yet. Overall though, a good little drive that's small and well-designed.
Summary: I needed a 16 GB flash drive. I have had Lexar flash drives in the past and all have served me well. I like the design and the cap allows me to put it on my key chain so I have it available at all times.
