Summary: WE are very satisfied with your service and the product. I am putting all of our pictures and slides in to titled folders and each picture has a caption explaining the picture. These will go to our children for their family heritage background. The Flash Drives are the perfect way to store them and they don't take up a lot of room for the kids to store and will be easy to pass on.
Summary: So far, this item is doing what I purchased it for............storage. No problems up to now. Nothing spectacular, but what can I say? It was what I needed at the price I wanted to pay. That combination is always a good deal.
Summary: This was 19 dollars! Works great as predicted. Comes with three info files on the hard drive, which was smart! No paperwork in the packaging just the file. Has lights and storage meter. The plug in end gets partially covered by the sliding action but is never fully covered so consider a case or just take care of it!
Excellent Backup Device - when you use their software.

Summary: I normally use Memeo backup software for all of my computers, but when I tried to use it on this Lexar device my backup rate dropped to about 2 Gigabytes per day and when you are trying to backup 80 Gigabytes . . . that's a problem. When I used the software that came with the device, Echobackup, the backup rate rose to 2 Gigabytes per hour.
Summary: Definitely meets the needs of storage capacity although I have played the game reformatting the drive for the right type of formatting to be compatible across the board. I think in the process though, the cool meter died as it doesn't show what is used and what is free anymore which could be my fault. In any case, it is secure. I don't use the auto backup software though...this is pure storage for me and nothing more. Love the portability.
Summary: I received this item and found it wouldn't save any file larger than 4 GB. I found out the device is formatted for FAT32. I formatted it for NTFS and had no problems loading any files. Before formatting, I copied all files on the USB to my hard drive. After formatting (which took about an hour), I copied all the files back to the USB and it worked perfectly. I would have rated it 5 had I not had to reformat it.
Summary: I purchased this flash drive to backup my iTunes between my PC (Windows XP Professional) and my MAC (OS 4.11). The drivers that were pre-installed on the flash drive did not work with MAC OS 4.11. Once I deleted all the pre-installed drivers, everything worked OK. The key is the flash drive's format. It was MS-DOS, which can be read by both MAC's and Windows PC's. Otherwise, I would have had to reformat as MS-DOS.
