Summary: KNOCKOFF! This is not a real LaCie iamakey the packaging is cheap and lacks any branding from Lacie. I had a real iamakey that lasted me since '08 I could tell right away this wasn't the real thing.
Summary: DON'T GET ALUMINUM USB KEYS. THEY COOK THEN DIE. This one just bent because my keys are dangling off it. So it died as well. get plastic ones. I've never had a plastic cased usb key die. I've had two aluminum cased usb keys die within months
Summary: Really cool idea, but mine broke before I even got a chance to take advantage of it. I was really pissed off at how much I spent for something so flimsy. Although I could have just been unlucky.
Summary: I stored this on my keychain just like anybody else would. After a couple months of using it a small plastic piece fell out of the USB port of the flash drive. I can no longer insert into any of my USB port on my computer. Poorly designed product that won't last.
Summary: I really wish I had read some of the lower reviews before I bought this...my LaCie key didn't even come with the protective plastic thing everyone says they lost, and stopped working within a month.
Summary: Regrettably, this turned out to be a poor purchasing decision. While a fantastic concept, it quit on me after a little over a year of owning it. Trying a Kingston Digital DataTraveler SE9 next and hoping I will have better results. I will not be purchasing any more LaCie products.
