Summary: Used Lexar Drives for years and they all plug/play on PC and Mac. This product did not on my iMac (2.7 Ghz Intel Core i5/ OS X 10.7.3.) Two e-mail instructions from support later and several hours of my time, I gave up and returned to product Amazon. Advertising should say for Mac with a lot of work and better be computer savvy to configure. Too bad such a great design for a key chain drive. Back to Lexar for me.
Summary: I was really excited about the potential for this product, and the convenience of being able to have a flash drive with me all the time. Initially, the device works spectacularly; however, spectacularly was exceptionally short-lived as the device only functioned for about a month before it stopped altogether.
Summary: DO NOT BUY LaCie iamakey. in 25 days I was able switch and recover most files from my old flash-drive to this one, and in 25 days it stopped working properly. It started working like an inoperative piece of metal, it had me freaking out about my files for 24 hours of not being able to access them, then it worked, I was able to access all my files, made a back up of all of them of course, and formatted the flash-drive. Now it works sometimes yes, sometimes not....
Summary: While this key seems like a great product, it is really a piece of junk! After only 3 months, it stopped mounting on any computers. LaCie was good about swopping it out with a replacement, but that item has also failed after 3 months! These items are defective, and for some reason LaCie is still shipping/selling them. Don't buy, no matter how cool an item you think it is. It is not cool to lose up to 16 gb of data every three months without warning.
Summary: Only worked for the first day, then no luck using it in four different computers. Quite a disappointment and quite frustrating since I was planning on accessing the files for a lecture and then found out too late that this nice looking device was a flop.
Won't Work After 1 Month & TERRIBLE Customer Service

Summary: I had this flashdrive on my keyring. Unfortunately it doesn't have a protective cover for the connection that goes into the USB hub. After a month it stopped working altogether (I tested it on multiple computers). I talked to Lacie (well, wrote them online, you can't talk to them because their customer service help online costs money to talk) and after a MONTH of dealing with them I STILL don't have a replacement flashdrive!! Terrible product. Terrible customer service.
