A bit slow but gets the job done

John K., Newegg
11 April 2014
  • Summary: If you are using this for documents and music, it is spot on the device you should use for the money. If you are using it as a backup device or to put portable apps on it or even to install an OS onto a netbook with it, it is just too slow.
  • Pros: 8gb for a great price Usb head pops in and out so it is not exposed when you don't want it to be Has a little loop if you want to tie a string to it
  • Cons: Slow! It feels like a couple 100kb/s but realistically it copies 1 gig in about 3 minutes. Feels cheap, but i toss it in my bags and of the 3 i bought, have yet to break one.

Great for the price

Jeff W., Newegg
15 August 2012
  • Summary: Bought 2 of these for music storage. The reviews were mostly favorable but some thought that it was really slow. After I received them, I was able to take all of my music CDs off of my computer and put them on each of these drives (14G).
  • Pros: Great Price Works Well Maybe not superfast, but gets the job done.
  • Cons: None that impacted me
