Pros: Fast and solid metal housing. Has blue led light to show transfer movement. Reaches transfer rates of 120 MB/Second for writing to the flash drive. On average it was around 80-100 mb/sec. As with any drive when you are transferring thousands of tiny files it slows down. For normal size files it is very fast though. If you have usb 3.0 buy this drive. I have not tested the performance on a 2.0 port yet.
Cons: The center of the drive the white part (as you can see from the pic) is plastic. The key ring does not come off it is permanently attached to the drive. I would never use this drive on a key ring so I have no used for the ring. Maybe I will cut it off with some clippers in a few weeks.
Conclusion: Kingston DataTraveler 3.0 might not be the fastest USB 3.0 flash drive but it is definitely able to deliver the expected speeds without any problem. Kingston DataTraveler 3.0 is currently priced quite expensive than standard USB 2.0 flash drives but if you own a notebook/desktop with USB 3.0 connectors then we do not see why there is hesitation to get such blazing speed flash drive.
Pros: + Greater speeds than USB2.0 devices, + Strong & durable Aluminum housing, + Minimal overheated problem, + Comes with 5 years warranty
