Knock off. Did not work.

Summary: Knock off product. Did not work. No memory was in the actual stick. It acted like a real data stick, but when copying it did not work. After removing the chipboard, it was determined that a dummy was placed in the main device and sold as a real item. Beware!!!

Summary: Mine failed within the first day. I don't want them to replace it but if this happens all the time they need to take it off the market. When I told them there's important data on the drive that I couldn't get to, the response was, "sorry about that. just send it back and we will replace it.
Summary: Although the packaging for this product was flawless in terms of identity, I'm fairly certain it is a knock-off. I own exactly the same memory key by Kingston and needed another. The first indicator was that the key mounted upside down with respect to my current one.
Summary: I received a defective item. Did not work from the first use. Once plugged into my computed, it asked to be formatted. It took 34hours to complete the format process. Once finished it would not open and asked to be formatted again. Another 35 hours. It would not let me save anything.
Summary: This thumb drive looks and feels great BUT it does not work at all. It is not recognizable by either windows or mac pcs. I am guessing this is part of a bad batch of memory sticks. I should have known better because of the low price. As of 12/26/2010 no word back from the seller.
Summary: I bought this for myself and it worked for less than a month. I called Kingston for warranty service and they told me that it was a counterfeit. I came from overseas and took a very long time to deliver. Please do not purchase.
Summary: Bought this when it first came out over 1 year ago. Lasted 6 months. Contacted kingston RMA sent me a new one. Second one lasted 4 months now its dead again. Will RMA it again. I will NEVER buy a kingston product again. Please avoid this flash drive at all costs.
Pros: Lots of storage. Kingston has great RMA Service.
Cons: It dies very fast. Transfer speeds aren't that great.
