Summary: I bought 2 of the Kingston 16GB Flash Drives. I have used one already for backup and didn't have any problem with it. Will use the other for backup this week and bring the first one out and try a restore from it. Satisfactory product and satisfactory purchase and delivery.
Summary: Plug and play..works like a charm on Windows XP (service pack 3) on a Dell Optiplex 755. Recognized easily and had no problems using this. have also used Kingston Travelmate jump drive before, this drive performs just as fast as my previous one.
Summary: I bought it instead of the G3 model because of free shipping. I thought a jump drive is a jump drive, and what matters is the huge 16GB storage inside. But I was wrong. First off, I have a hard time taking the black cap off the drive every single time. The stick is short but thick so, as others said, it can easily get into the way of other outlets. Most importantly, because of its odd shape, I thought I would use a strap to hook it up so I won't lose it so easily.
Summary: I chose this Flash Drive because of its capacity and price. It includes a software to manage portable applications by Kingston, although I have also included another software for that. Since I don't plan to use it to store music or photos, but mainly transfer big files between computers, I don't know if I will ever use all its capacity. I think is great to have the portable applications with these available space to be able to work on different computers.
Summary: I've been using this one for a bit over a two months now. No drama. It would have been 5 stars, but it came with crap ware that automatically executed when I plugged the drive into a USB port. I really hate those sorts of surprises. So, I moved all the crap ware into a folder so it wouldn't automatically run anymore. The drive still functions just fine. Someday I might go look and see what Kingston gifted me with. It might be useful.
Summary: This thing is huge! If your USB ports are very close together this will block the other port from being used. This is the true on my Macbook pro as well as my Dell laptop. Very inconvenient having to take something out so that you can plug this in. Make sure you have lots of room between usb ports if your buying this.
Summary: I have other Kingston travel USB drives. I love their product. The only thing I would say is the drive is a little thick, so if you have a computer with very closely usb drive inputs, you can't put another USB drive next to it. It takes up too much room.
