Kingston Datatraveler 310 - 256 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive DT310/256GB

James W. Hopkins, Amazon
8 April 2014
  • Summary: The Kingston Datatraveler 310 - 256 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive DT310/256GB did not hold much data as in most flash drive. It did not live up to the Kingston name. I returned it.

Read the Other Reviews! Faulty Product, but FANTASTIC Seller1

Dr. Gordon, Amazon
13 October 2013
  • Summary: Most of the reviews of this product were very negative. I thought i would try it anyhow. Fortunately, I got into communication with the seller, Fast-N-Friendly, who told me if it didn't work for me, i could return the product for a refund of the purchase price.

It is okay.

Kevin, Amazon
11 October 2013
  • Summary: This drive holds alot but even for 50 MB transfers it is slower than a 4 GB drive. When I mean slower, I mean slower as in 20 minutes slower for a mere 50 MB's. It does the job but not very well.

works fine, until it breaks (flimsy connector)

Philliip I. Ambrose, Amazon
3 May 2012
  • Summary: I have the 8GB version of this device. It works perfectly fine, but not very robust. If you need a thumb drive that can take punishment, look for something else. Mine got bent and now it doesn't work anymore. The plastic housing around the connector cracked, eventually came apart and now is useless.

Not well built

Ryan F. Swanson, Amazon
18 September 2010
  • Summary: Although the price of this product was right, I can now see why. Unless you have the strength of a 3 week old, when you slide the cover closed, it falls apart, and is not easy to put together without breaking the memory board.

Silly Design

Marc L. Kelley "Jacynth11", Amazon
23 February 2010
  • Summary: What's Good? It holds 8G of data, is very small and it's inexpensive. It looks nice - if you don't touch it. A small light inside the black window indicates when it is reading and writing. What's Bad? The protective sleeve may be a nice thought - but it is completely worthless.

Fragile

broadway_GIRL "LD", Amazon
24 January 2010
  • Summary: The idea and concept is nice. Small portable and sleek looking in cool colors. But the problem is it is so vulnerable. It hangs with all your keys, gets thrown in your purse and backpack.

OK but problems with Vista

David H. Diamond, Amazon
23 March 2008
  • Summary: Works fine with XP. Their web site clalims it is Vista compatible, but it requests a driver when mounted on Vista. Their tech support was responsive, but I could not make the Microsoft fix to which they referred me work.
