Summary: Most of the reviews of this product were very negative. I thought i would try it anyhow. Fortunately, I got into communication with the seller, Fast-N-Friendly, who told me if it didn't work for me, i could return the product for a refund of the purchase price.
Summary: This drive holds alot but even for 50 MB transfers it is slower than a 4 GB drive. When I mean slower, I mean slower as in 20 minutes slower for a mere 50 MB's. It does the job but not very well.
Summary: I have the 8GB version of this device. It works perfectly fine, but not very robust. If you need a thumb drive that can take punishment, look for something else. Mine got bent and now it doesn't work anymore. The plastic housing around the connector cracked, eventually came apart and now is useless.
Summary: for me it was a waste of money. didnt last a weak! kingston change it for a 32gb so i was happy, but again, it last also like one or two weeks. old flash drives wore more reliable than this big new ones...
Summary: Although the price of this product was right, I can now see why. Unless you have the strength of a 3 week old, when you slide the cover closed, it falls apart, and is not easy to put together without breaking the memory board.
Summary: What's Good? It holds 8G of data, is very small and it's inexpensive. It looks nice - if you don't touch it. A small light inside the black window indicates when it is reading and writing. What's Bad? The protective sleeve may be a nice thought - but it is completely worthless.
Summary: Works fine with XP. Their web site clalims it is Vista compatible, but it requests a driver when mounted on Vista. Their tech support was responsive, but I could not make the Microsoft fix to which they referred me work.
