Summary: This drive is quick, and I love the external write protect switch. I wanted that switch so I could prevent accidental erasure of critical content. The biggest hurdle is that USB 3.0 flash drives are still much more expensive than their USB 2.0 counterparts.
Summary: The main reason for purchasing this device is the write-protect switch. Unfortunately, the write-protect switch is a simple slide-switch with no mechanical detent to ensure it stays locked. Unfortunately, the unlocked position is achieved by moving the switch towards the rear of the device.
Summary: I am a huge fan of Kanguru flash drives. I have owned several and none have failed. (My work has 6 of this exact model in use for 2 years). I have this USB3 WP flash drive for just over 2 years and have used it very heavily (at least 5 times a week).
Pros: I have had extremely good success with Kanguru drives. I love the hardware write protection switch. Fast writes and reads. Quality construction. Cap fits on so nicely. This is my all-time favorite flash drive to-date.
