Summary: This product will only work with very old and antiquated versions of the Mac Op system. I've spoken twice with the manufacturer, and so far they have offered absolutely no support for this device for the new Mac Op systems.
Summary: The Iron Key has many features, not all of which I have used yet. Pros: physically strong, with metal construction. According to Imation's instructions, security is very solid; mostly applies if you lose or have it stolen. As this has not been the case, I cannot comment.
Summary: They build quality appears to be tough and the device indestructible but it stopped working after a few years. But the real issue is that the device is slow for running any sort of application. Get USB 3.0 if you plan to use a browser from a USB drive.
Summary: These things are great especially if you are traveling overseas a lot. The reason I gave it 3 stars is due to the support that iron key used to provide (they are now owned by someone else which in my opinion is even worse) and they do not keep up with newer versions of Firefox.
Summary: I got this because I would all over the world and wanted a little extra security while online. It works great but I switched to Mac and it is not compatible. I think ironkey makes one for mac but I haven't looked for yet
Two Ironkey catastrophic failures . . . should be called Butterkey, not Ironkey . . .

Summary: I’ve bought five (5) Ironkeys over the past five years. Eighteen months ago the first one failed, just stopped working. This week, the second Ironkey failed. I can open the device, but the secure files have disappeared completely.
Summary: The product arrived quickly. I have been using it now for about 2-3 weeks. It is very sturdy and very secure. I noticed when I plugged in the USB drive to see what was on it before the security kicked, all you see is the 90 MB boot partition. You don't see anything with the 7GB volume.
Summary: I've ordered a few of these (keeping a backup at all times), and I am pleased with the way it works. I'm much more paranoid about data security these days. However, on average, these only seem to be lasting about 18 months.
