Summary: Shortly after I purchased this flash drive (within 30 days), it crashed taking my photos with it. I was able to recover most/all. Amazon quickly replaced the drive, and all has been good until today. It crashed again, loosing about 24Gb of photos.
Summary: I bought this in mid-April 2010 and used it very rarely, storing it in its own pocket in my purse, capped when not in use. I needed to transfer a large amount of data yesterday and midway through was no longer able to write to the drive.
Summary: Zero stars for this POS. This system would not let me give it ZERO. Three of these drives just stopped working about three weeks after starting to use. Would not let me reformat, all files lost, no recovery software worked and both pc and mac systems would not work in.
Summary: I have had mine 2 weeks and it is locked up. It says corrupted drivers. It was slow, but it did work for 2 weeks. For me, this is a piece of junk. It shows all 32gb being used up; the most I ever have on it at once is 1.5 gb...please don't buy
Summary: I should have non, the price was too good to be true. The flash drive worked for about two months, then suddenly none of my computers were able to transfer data onto it. I contacted customer service, and they never responded. Next time I'll pay extra and purchase a none brand.
Summary: I've had a few of these in the past. I needed a 32gb to store 10 years worth of pictures. I was able to put all of them on the flash drive but when I went to remove them and reinstall a new batch a whole group of pictures wouldn't come off the flash drive. I kept getting a corrupt message.
Summary: Mine failed on the third use. My first clue should have been how long it took to transfer an MP3 audiobook from my PC--45 minutes. (The same size book takes about 5 minutes to transfer to my Sandisk 8GB) I was able to transfer the book to my Mac, but the next time I used the thumb drive it it failed...
Summary: You would hope a company's quality control would eliminate lemons. But I got a lemon from EMTEC with this EMTEC C250 Candy Series 32 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive (Blue). It failed in my 2nd data transfer session.
