Summary: I love it but... It's everything it's supposed to be. I drive a motorcycle, so this is great to standing up to dust and rain. Lost a star because the cool stickers on the inside USB stick peeled off and one of the black rubber pieces fell off at some point from normal ware and tare. As a result it doesn't look quite as cool now, but it's still a life saver. I love this thing!
Great construction and durability where you don't often find it.

Summary: I've had it about a month and so far it is great. I'd give it 5 stars but durability is a big deal for me with items like this. The outer case is very durable and nothing flimsy about the construction. The load speed is very good and I've not had any issues extracting information form multiple devices yet. A little on the expensive side but if I get 3 years out of it I'll consider this a great buy.
Summary: This flash drive is excellent. I did not give it 5 stars however because the body is far too elongated creating a large vulnerable moment arm. Mechanically, external forces applied to this drive while it is in use may shear off the connector due to large shear stress created on its end. However, while not in use and stored in its barrel it should be as indestructible as described (especially since it is made out of aircraft aluminum).
Summary: I found several reviews of this product which were for 32/64 GB drive. I want to review my purchase of 256 GB drive. For the price (150$) I am loving this drive. It is almost like an SSD to my macbook. I will install my applications on it so that I do not fill in space in my actual drive. I am also planning to load my music on it and use it in my car's USB port. I loved this drive so far, I hope it will last longer and keep on working great.
GREAT PRODUCT BUT ONLY HAS ONE HOLE FOR A LANYARD... A LANYARD FOR THE NECK SHOULD BE PLACED AT THE OTHER END

Summary: GREAT PRODUCT BUT ONLY HAS ONE HOLE FOR A LANYARD... A LANYARD FOR THE NECK SHOULD BE PLACED AT THE OTHER END - THIS MAKES IT NOT SO PRACTICAL IN PUTTING IT IN A HARD DRIVE IF YOU HAVE TO TAKE TO LANYARD OFF OF YOUR NECK ESPECIALLY SINCE THERE IS NO QUICK DISCONNECT FOR THE LANYARD CONNECTION (THE HOLE IN THE SURVIVOR'S THUMB DRIVE.
Summary: Heavy enough to show the slightest of bends, where the USB plug meets the body, when left horizontally jacked overnight in a laptop. That written, I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED this device will save all my backed up data, under any weather condition, if and when my laptop dies. Note that the threads are very fine and are aluminum, so great care should be used while threading the case to the body. This drive should provide many years of service.
Summary: First I have to say I am not testing the strength or durability of the device. I will take peoples' word on that subject. The flash drive transfers at a high rate with all usb 3.0 ports; it has never transfer less than 40mb/sec. The reason I bought the device is cause I travel via public trans, go to a university, and the volume of people well...
Summary: I love this thing, hands down. Never had a USB drive that I felt so confident with. One thing I do have to point out is that, at least with mine, the threading on either the cap of the USB is now worn off to the point where I can no longer tighten the cap. After a few pulls the cap will come off. Tried after removing the rubber seal and the cap still came loose and eventually came off.
Summary: Using TrueCrypt, I setup this drive to hold an encrypted volume for work. The flash memory was speedy enough that I could copy gigabytes, encrypted, in just a few minutes. Reads were blazing fast. My only complaint is that because one of the round end caps cannot be removed from the drive, it requires a lot of clearance below the port to prevent the drive from flexing. I have to set my Macbook Air propped on something to give the drive clearance to plug in.
