Didn't Last!

Mightygary, Newegg
6 March 2013
  • Pros: USB3 stick, relatively fast transfers before it died
  • Cons: Completely died, non recoverable and lost all data on the drive. Very bulky and not great for MacBook Pro's or other slim notebooks because of it's size.

Not Happy

Newegg
14 December 2012
  • Pros: Lots of space, and it's nearly invincible.
  • Cons: There is something wrong with the connector on my drive, it will not read in a USB 3.0 port, have tried on many different systems and it has never worked. Plug it into...

Not good if you plan to use it daily.

Ari Denison "pixenter", Amazon
9 November 2012
  • Summary: I really wanted this to be awesome. It isn't. Within a month of use the little rubber ring that is supposed to create a watertight seal began to bind up, making it either...

Newegg
6 July 2012
  • Pros: Very fast transfer speeds. Great case. Great capacity. Fastest thumb drive I have ever used.
  • Cons: After about 3 months the drive failed on me. It lights up when I plug it in but it wont connect and show that it is connected. Now I have this chunk of metal that ligh...

Great... Then not too great... :(

Newegg
12 June 2012
  • Pros: Drive is made of virtually indestructible materials... Read/Write speeds are very fast and works on USB 3.0 & 2.0. It's kinda bulky, but worth it's weight in GBs.
  • Cons: After about half a week of movie transfers, cad file transfers, and other large file transfers the Corsair "Survivor" died... I had just finished transferring a few fi...

Bricked in less than 30 days

Newegg
2 May 2012
  • Summary: I've since discovered this is a common problem, but we'll see how long the replacement lasts.
  • Pros: Yes, it's rugged physically, and provided adequate speed of transfers.
  • Cons: In less than one month it got the blue blinking light of doom and became a brick. Zero functionality. I've contacted Corsair for an RMA.

Decent product

Newegg
23 April 2012
  • Summary: Don't count on the rebate, I was denied my rebate even though I completed all of the documents and submitted it properly.
  • Pros: Good speed and seems durable, although I have not put to the test.
  • Cons: It is rather bulky. Tends to roll off of my desk because of the tubular design, I think that any flat edge would have been helpful.

  • Summary: This is a good idea, but it is coming a part within a year of purchase, the memory is holding up good though and it comes in handy, but the rubber parts fell off and now

Rebates Stink

Newegg
7 March 2012
  • Pros: Very sturdy. Fast [enough for what I'm doing]. Plays well with USB 2.0 ports.
  • Cons: The drive itself is very long due to the protective end. End of the drive is bulky which can sometimes get in the way of other items moving around your computer. I use...
