I always buy voyager products and this did not disappoint

Summary: Ever since 2007 when I bought my first Voyager product from Corsair I have been loyal to the brand. It is fast, it is sleek, and it survives wet and harsh enviroments. This one is really fast at USB 3.0 speeds though I recall a review that had another brand be faster at read and writes. With USB 3.0 it has become possible to really use the bootable linux on a stick concept.
Summary: After reading the advertisements about these drives, I was sold. I loved the colors as well, and said, "this has to be the dream thumb drive." Well, after ordering two 32gb thumbs, a 64, and one 128gb thumb, I have to honestly say they work ok, but nothing compared to the speed of my Sandisk Extreme.
Summary: This USB 3.0 flash drive does not work on my Kenwood car stereo (approximately 6 years old with USB input). The screen says no music data. My older small capacity flash drives work just fine. Does anybody know a workaround?
Summary: Using this with a 2010 Mac Pro and a Caldigit USB 3.0 PCI Express card. Using AJA System Test and testing a 1.0 GB file, the speeds I am getting are Write: 97.6 MB/S Read: 135.3 MB/S Using a 4.0 GB file size: Write: 124.2 MB/S Read: 133.0 MB/S Very fast and so much storage space. Very glad I bought this Flash Drive.
Seems not that much faster than the 32GB USB3 blue drive...

Summary: Price premium This Red GT drive is not noticeably faster than the cheaper Blue Corsair 32GB USB3 drive; the blue drive aka Model CMFVY3S-32GB. But, websites rate the GT at 220 MB/s. That's "rated" at almost 3x faster than the blue drive which is rated at 80MB/s. This rating difference is what prompted me to buy the Red GT. Well, in practice, it seems I paid a $12 premium for the color alone because I did not notice any speed difference between the two.
Corsair Voyager GT USB 3.0 128GB Flash Drive (CMFVYGT3A-128GB)
20 September 2012
Summary: I just received my Corsair Voyager GT USB 3.0 128GB flash drive two days ago from Newegg on ebay and was a little concerned because the first reviewer here on Amazon had problems with his and only gave it one star for not consistently operating at top USB 3 speed. But after using mine on my new HP dv6 Intel i7 laptop and a custom built Desktop AMD machine (both of witch were set up with USB 3 motherboards), I'm very satisfied with it's USB 3 speed (really quite...
Does not work on Windows 8 (I know - it's a beta release)
13 September 2012
Summary: Works on USB 3.0 on windows 7 x64 no problems. And it's fast. On Windows 8 Release Preview (two computers), it is either recognized as 2.0 (with a message that it would work faster in a 3.0 port - it's plugged in a 3.0 port). I tracked down the error to the fact that Windows 8 has new specs for USB drivers - and this device is not YET fully compatible (in one port would not work at all, and the other will but as USB 2.0 - both computers).
