Voyager are nice until they stop working within a few months

Summary: When I first bought this flash drive I had recently just moved up from a standard flash corsair which had just stopped working after two months. Determined to stay with corsair I spent the money for a 64g voyager gt. Initially the gt was a pleasurable experience with read and write speeds within expectations. However, after 6 months I am finally writing a review to inform others that yet again I have had a voyager (gt) die on me.
Summary: Another great Corsair product. I have used several of these products over the years and never had a failure or glitch with any of them. The transfer speed seems right in-line with advertised specs for this unit. My only gripe with Corsair Flash Voyager products is it can be easy to lose or misplace the rubber cap. I have attached a nylon string to the small bullet end of the cap and fastened the other end to the lanyard loop - problem solved.
Summary: I bought this with the inention of using it as a portable storage device to run virtual machines off of. The random read and write of this device is not fast enough to do that. It took 5 minutes for a windows 7 VM to boot off of it. However, it took less than 2 minutes or so to copy the machine to the drive. So if all you're going to do is use it as a storage device, it's great. Make sure you don't lose the cap though!
Physically Huge! and cheaper design then older versions

Summary: This this is huge!!! I had an older 16gb voyager flash drive it loved, but this 64gb has a cheaply made flash drive with rubber around it. You can pull the flash drive right out or the rubber case, couldn't do that with the old one. It is really fast though.....
Summary: Less than a month after buying this, it has failed. It has a physical connection problem and has to be wiggled to get ANY computer to recognize it. I can't reliably read or write to is at this point either - presumably due to the same issue.
