Summary: Was a decent flash drive for the money, however, keep in mind it's not very durable. Kept it clean and dry in my pocket and it only lasted about two weeks before becoming a brick. This might be useful for something to just sit around the house though.
Summary: This was a great device! Fast speeds, great size, and very durable. It seemed like it would be rugged, but apparently travelling from my house to my church once a week was too much for it, although it did last a year and a half. I purchased this because it was USB 3.0 and 16 GB, which was great for taking videos home and copying them to my home computer. I had an old USB 2.0 that I used for two years before, (and still works fine!
Summary: I purchased a 16G Voyager locally last year... While I liked the fact it was fast 3.0, comfortable to use, and works with a lanyard, I did lose the rubber connector cover not long after purchase - one of it's weaknesses. Also, while the drive's PCB is covered with the hard rubber skin, it does flex during insertion; in my case, it apparently flexed enough over time where the connector worked its way loose from the PCB, making the drive unusable.
Summary: Received the units, and one of them was DOA. I guess quality control is not something that Corsair focuses on. There's no reason for a brand new flash drive to be DOA. Other than this, the other 4 seem to work OK. But Corsair should really be checking these units before they ship to make sure they actually work.
Dont fall for USB 3.0 when it comes to flash drive

Summary: I recently brought the Corsair 16GB Flash Voyager USB 3.0 Flash Drive for a reasonable price but a price higher than the USB 2.0 version. Note: I bought this device from Amazon and not 3rd party vendor. As for the device itself and USB 3.0. Here are the test results. 1) I connected the device to my USB 3.0 port and checked what Windows recognized it as. It was showing up as Mass Storage Device while it showed Voyager 3.0 when connected to USB 2.0.
Summary: Pros - Performance: 1) The USB 3.0 protocol of this flash drive, makes file transfers visibly faster than my other USB 2.0 drives. 2) The outer body of this drive is made of a soft rubber that makes it shock proof and provides a good grip in your hand. Cons - Design: The only cons are in the design of this product, which in my opinion is pathetic: 1) The body is kind of roundish, due to which I cannot plug this drive "alongside" other USB devices in my laptop's adjacent...
