Summary: Overall Very good flash drive. Worth it when it is on sale. Rubber collect dust easily and can be hard to clean but performance wise, it is great. Also not a big fan of the cap. easy t to lose it. Would definitely purchase again if it is on sale.
Pros: Fast, CHeap when on sale.
Cons: Rubber, catches dust easily. not a big fan of the lid which can be lost easily also.
Summary: So why are there constantly refurbs of the Voyager available? Because they die left and right. But for the price, frankly, it's worth the risk. I have bad luck with Flash drives, I've killed my last two and they were pricy USB 3.0 models. If this one bites the dust I won't feel too bad. Just don't keep any important data on it - always have a backup!
Summary: Purchased two of these NEW, and both have failed and send back to them for warranty. Got two replacements and at the moment both are working - though I no longer put anything important on them and use them much more sparingly. Perhaps there was a significant batch problem with them, as a huge number went to refurbishment. At least they replaced under warranty. I will not purchase Corsair again for a while.
Summary: I own the non refurb version of this too, and it has held up for me for over a year of abuse. I accidentally washed it, its still going. It has been dropped, abandoned, left in the car in -25C weather etc. Good little drive, does what it should.
