Summary: I'm not sure that I really need to have 32 GB of storage on my key chain, but I figured what the heck! I'll probably think it's nothing in three years. I have plugged it into a USB 3.0 port on my computer and got lighting-speed transfer rates. I've dropped it at least 20 times, and it took it like a prize-fighter. I'd recommend this to someone, who like me, works for a living and needs a durable flash drive.
Summary: This drive is one of the faster ones you can get. I just started using it, so far its been great. I put it in a USB 2.0 port and got write speeds 2x as fast as with a USB 2.0 drive. I haven't tested this on USB 3.0 yet. The drive itself has a tough rubber exterior. The cap takes a good amount of force to get off. This is a good thing, it prevent it from falling off and getting lost. With the cap on I bet its water resistant, the seal is very tight.
Summary: Regardless of anyone else's negative experiences, I have found this thumb drive to be extraordinarily reliable and speedy. I have both a 32 GB and a 16 GB model and both have been extraordinarily reliable. I accidentally put my 16 GB model through the wash and it came out working perfectly. The speeds are incredible - without performing any speed tests (I know, sorry...
Summary: Well, I've only had this flash/thumb drive for about a month. So far, so good. It is very fast and with 128GB, holds ALL of my data. That part I really like. Previously, I was using a USB spindle-HDD's and they only seem to last 2 or 3 years. It could be that this thumb drive might have similar, disappointing longevity ... but I hope not. I plan to purchase 1 or 2 more to keep a backup of my backup of my backup.
Summary: I bought two of these in 2012, and the both died within a few weeks. This drive is actually not very rugged at all. Yes, it is cover in a ton of shock resistant rubber, however there is no hard casing at all. The stick on the outside is very vulnerable to torque/bending from everyday use. Since there is no hard case, if the end does bend, then the connection between it and the memory chip will be severed. This happened twice for this particular flash drive.
