Summary: I did not expect much when being offered the Centon flash drive for review. There are plenty of companies out there offering USB 3.0 pen drives with USB 2.0 real world performance, with the aim to cash in on the premium of utilizing the new connectivity standard. Not so Centon, as the Rush delivers everything it promises on the package and more. The company has printed a 60/60 MB/s read/write performance on the package which the Rush manages to deliver with ease.
Pros: Fairly balanced performance, Great performance for its price, Faster performance than advertised, 77 MB/s read, 50 MB/s write, Great USB 2.0 performance, Sliding mechanism to protect cap, Carabiner included, Red activity LED, 5 years warranty
Cons: Erratic write performance dips, Housing build quality alright, Carabiner won't be able to be attached without scratching housing, People may mistake it for a USB 2.0 drive
