Not for keyrings.

Stanley, Amazon
  • Summary: I like the drive, but it didn't last long on my keyring before the thin metal ring on the drive broke. As long as you're not going to try and keep it on a keyring in your pocket this might work for you.

It's an OK USB 3.0 drive.

Daniel M., Newegg
25 June 2014
  • Summary: On the flip side of the cons, this drive does excel at writing large files. I have spiked up past 200MB transferring DVD ISO's . The drive has lasted 9 months with no problems. Bottom line for this drive is this: Good for moving around big files, terrible for small files. But it does look really nice, almost elegant and lasting 9 months so far, I would say it's reliable. As always, NewEgg shipped fast and secure!
  • Pros: The only real pro is the sleek look with the blue LED indicator light.
  • Cons: The performance of this drive varies wildly! Righting a series of small files? Might as well use a USB 2.0 drive because you will get the same speeds. This drive is terrible at at writing consecutive small files.

Portability fail...

WillemV, Amazon
10 February 2014
  • Summary: The entire thing is made of durable aluminum, except for the carry loop, which is made of plastic -- its weakest point. After 2 days on a key ring the loop broke.

So far so... ok

Neil P., Newegg
17 December 2013
  • Pros: Man was this thing is FAST. I replaced my 32GB Patriot with this one because I wanted some more space. Perfect for that, lightweight, and data rates are phenomenal.
  • Cons: It's already failed on me. I'll be submitting for an RMA, because I can't base my full thoughts on this product by the failure of one component. I'm hoping the replacement lasts me a lot longer.

Worked great until keychain part broke

Jeremy D., Newegg
3 December 2013
  • Pros: Read/Write speed was great. I absolutely loved it.
  • Cons: Was slightly bigger than i thought. I was mainly using it to have on my keychain. After about two months the key chain loop broke off, and I lost the flash drive. Was really disappointed because I used it all the time and really saved me alot of time.

Iffy on this... cant really say

Henry H., Newegg
25 October 2013
  • Pros: Seemed fast and capable when I got it and it worked
  • Cons: I put a bunch of confidential information on there and then tried throwing a portable OS on there (I believe I was going with lubuntu). Installation froze part way through and then crashed. I knew I had to re-format the drive but it was impossible. Just plugging it into any of my 3 computers (some in safe mode, others utilizing boot-disks) led them to freeze. Thus I got a brick with confidential information on it :( Had to wipe it and brick it. I'm sure this isn't ADA...

I'm assuming mine is just faulty.

Jacob L., Newegg
20 October 2013
  • Pros: Fast Nice looking Blue light is a nice touch
  • Cons: At frequent, but random times, it will make me format and lose everything on it. I've tried various formats and various devices but it refuses to stay formatted. Also, the texturing can be a pain because its hard to clean.

Painful to use

Derrick B., Newegg
17 October 2013
  • Summary: I loved the look of the stick and the speeds seemed good enough (I did not do any read/write speeds). But man, what an uncomfortable stick to use. I returned it and will not be ordering another one.
  • Pros: Good speeds. Looks beautiful. Very slim, easily fits next to other USB ports without blocking anything. Write/read light is bright but not too blinding.
  • Cons: 1. The sliding mechanism is VERY stiff. I was shocked at how much effort it takes to slide it out fully. I can push it out about halfway with the button on the side, but then needed to grasp the plug and pull it the rest of the way. I don't know if just my chassis was extra stiff but I attempted to "break it in" by continuously sliding and retracting the plug and it never got any looser or easier. 2. Related to #1, the button on the side that you push to slide the plu...

Good drive, but bad for keychain use

Richard Makadok, Amazon
2 September 2013
  • Summary: As a drive, this works well - no complaints. However, do not buy this model if you intend to keep it on a keychain. That is what I did, but the little plastic loop on the end of the drive that I used for attaching it to my keychain broke after about two months of being carried around in my pocket. I will now look for a new one with a sturdier loop, preferably one made of metal rather than plastic.
