Summary: I don't wanna tell everyone to avoid this product, because it doesn't seem that anyone else has had this problem. So, If you're gonna buy it, I wish you the best of luck!
Pros: Extremely cheap for how many gb you're getting. It works. Would consider purchasing again.
Cons: The drive is cheap, but it really shows. The plastic encasing the drive is very flimsy and bends easily. If you're a person who loves a solid metal/sturdy flash drive, search elsewhere. However, for me, this wasn't a big deal. The reason i'm giving this product two eggs is because within about 2 ...
Summary: Very disappointed in A-Data. They have gone down in quality. Really have gone down in quality.
Pros: No pros. When I opened the package I was instantly irate, disappointed and surprised that A-Data make such cheap horse dung stuff.
Cons: Okay here is the deal with this product. 1. No cap. I thought it would have a cap. 2. Small but INSANELY CHEAPLY CONSTRUCTED. I opened this garbage and I felt the cheapness of construction right away. Okay so I got 16 gb. However can I actually put 16 gb of my important school data on a piece of ...
Summary: Using them to keep operating system images for installs so I don't have to carry discs around. I am in the process of testing an install out with these now so I can't comment on the read speed, but if it is anything like the write speed... Oh boy.
Pros: Cheap, small. seem decently sturdy for my use.
Cons: Ordered 3 of these, each drive took an incredible amount of time to be initialized when plugged into my Vantec powered USB hub. When they finally did, each drive reported errors and had me scan them. Even then the write performance on these is really poor. Figured maybe there is some incompatibil...
Summary: I bought this for the single purpose of making a recovery drive for my laptop before removing Windows to install Ubuntu. The setup was fast enough, and it's been in storage ever since, so I can reinstall Windows if the need ever comes up.
Pros: Large capacity and fast enough for what I need.
Cons: A little slow, but it's not important for my use.
