Summary: I have used several ADATA flash drives in the past and I like the look and feel of them. I ordered one for myself and it arrived fast. After using it for several months the metal USB portion of the drive came loose and stayed in the USB slot while the internals spilled all over the desk. I was able to put it back together and it was still usable. After that the metal shield was loose, but easily fixed with a dab of epoxy glue. No more issues.
Summary: I love the physical function of the drive and it works perfectly for me. Be it key ring or belt loop I can clip this drive and go. Never had any issues with crowding ports that I have had before and the hefty design affords it a bit of protection. The storage capacity and performance were good for the price. I previously owned an 8GB version of the S805, but I ended up giving it away. For some reason I never could get it to work at all in Linux (which is my primary OS).
Summary: Design is good. It clips on/off of keychains very easily, yet it's secure and won't fall off on it's own. USB part snaps into place at 90deg and when fully opened/closed. Tested transfer speed with large files: ~8MB/s write, ~30MB/s read, which is a little bit slower than I expected but not awful. Recently purchased so I can't speak to longevity, but design was what I was looking for and it works great so far.
Summary: I already owned the 8GB model and only needed a bit more storage. This is actually the 3rd one and only the first gave me any trouble. It lasted just over 1 year and without warning, quit working completely. They all seem very sturdy and other than scratches caused by the constant jiggling while in my pocket, held up very well. The main reason I returned to this same brand is the carabiner clip. I need a drive with me almost all the time.
Summary: Having needed a larger USB stick for a long time, this fills a pain point that was really needed. I had been carrying around several smaller USB sticks for a long time. The need to carry one that would fill the need for larger files was a long time over due. It has done the job up to now. The issue that I am seeing is that the USB stick has a hard time fitting into USB connections.
Summary: I love the the big Carabbiner-style clip -- it has a large opening that fits easily on a keychain and is easy to take on and off. Seems durable. My only possible complaints are (1) an activity light would be a nice addition and (2) I got a double-check airport because it looks slightly like a swiss army knife.
Summary: I just wanted to say this is exactly what I was looking for. I like keeping a USB drive on my keychain and the plastic ones kept on breaking on me. This one has a nice metal design and a clip that is easy to remove from the keychain. Most importantly it is solidly built and will not break easily like those cheap plastic ones. Worth a few extra bucks. Also it has had no problem reading in any device and computer I've used.
Summary: The most attractive USB thumb drive and very convenient style package. Chrome trim and red color gives the best aesthetics of its kind. Actually, I had a 8GB version that I broke by having on the belt with a strong magnet tool holder. So I had to buy another one with the same look. So far, I've been doing good keeping away from super magnets.
