Summary: Wish someone else would make a similar product, as I can not get mine repaired, and I am not buying anything from a company that thinks that little of it's customers.
Pros: Love the design of these, bought 2 of them in 2011. They are so handy to just clip on your key chain and go.
Cons: Unfortunately, 1 stopped working after 1 month and the other shortly after. They always got HOT when in use, almost burn your hand hot (just the USB Plug portion). I have tried multiple time to contact AData for repair/replacement but never have I gotten a response, except a survey asking how my experience was with their customer service. NO customer service response, but a survey asking how they had done!
Summary: I bought this flash drive because like many others out there, I wanted a durable, metal USB flash drive that could easily hook up to my keychain. What I got was something that blew out on me in 3 weeks. Although the drive looked appealing, my first problems was that writing and reading data on the drive was super slow, way slower than any other flash drives on the market. Also, there was no LED activity indicator light, and I didn't know when the drive was on or not.
Summary: This is a beautifully designed USB drive in terms of looks, portability, and convenience. I loved it for the first week. After that however, it just stopped being recognized by any of my computers, effectively turning it into a useless ornament. I have since noticed that many of the other reviews of this item say the same thing. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY ITS ATTRACTIVE DESIGN - THIS IS A PIECE OF CRAP.
Summary: this thing broke after a week of barely using it, suddenly no computer will recognize it even though i just used it about 5 minutes before. Lost 10 hours of work that I will now have to re-do because I did not have a chance to back it up on my computer.
Summary: I should have heeded the other reviews that warned that this product is prone to just quit working for no apparent reason. Plugged into my work PC today and nothing. Took it home and still not recognized. It was convenient when it worked, but what good is a flash drive if your pc won't recognize it? I advise trying a different maker.
