Summary: First of all, drive is blazing fast when it is formatted as FAT32. If you format it as another file system (i.e., NTFS or exFAT), you will lose a lot of the speed. If I were basing this review just on the speed, it would be 5 eggs.
Pros: Very fast - operates at advertised speeds as long as it is formatted as FAT32.
Cons: Expensive. Cap always falls off and WILL eventually get lost. If there is a rebate, ADATA may try to rip you off.
Cons: I bought these for USB 3 capabilities and they did work that way fine. But they would also be used in USB 2 slots and neither of the two I bought would work in USB 2 slots on two known working, approx 1 year old computers and not using an USB hub. I'll never buy any of their products again.
Summary: Have bought other Adata products and had no issues with them, and so expect this monster to haunt me for years and years. Just missed out on the latest rebate by one day. Not unhappy with the price or drive, but would not recommend it due to the sheer size of it.
Pros: Quick, read and write speeds are quite good, nice finish, cap fits tightly.
Cons: This thing is seriously huge! This is by far the largest usb flash drive I've ever had, notably larger than other 64GB drives I own. When sitting next to any other drive It almost comes across as some absurd child's toy, or bic disposable lighter. No activity LED, I'm sorry but I need to know whe...
Pros: So far (30 days) no problems with performance. This seems like a good, solid, high-capacity drive at a good price. I wanted to post this note to say how I fixed the cap problem on my unit. Originally, the cap almost seemed designed to fly off. That's because the two ridges inside the cap that sho...
Summary: I've got caps from older drives that slide on tight to the usb plug, they do the trick. You can easily find a cheap cap online, with a lanyard to replace the junk cap that came with it. If you really want the USB 3.0 speed, then make sure you have USB 3.0 ports lol.
Pros: Fast High capacity Relatively cheap
Cons: Cap sucks, as everyone else has mentioned. I am docking an egg from my review for that.
Summary: I should have stuck with the 32GB version.
Pros: The drive is fast and has a high capacity. Aluminum housing is sturdy and looks good.
Cons: I had the 32Gb version, but lost it a few months back. It worked great, so I bought this one as a replacement. The first and biggest gripe I have about this product is the cap! Why even take the time to design and make a cap that doesn't even stay on? The second is the fact that this drive is the...
Summary: It does not cost that much more to build in quality.
Pros: it works
Cons: The the extreme cost of this device, I expected some kind of non loosable cover for the USB plug. The cheap plastic cap that came with this will not stay on either end and is usless. Totaly dissapointed. It is dangerously too long. I would be easy to dammage the USB port if bumped.
