Summary: This drive has great performance. The form factor is a little awkward because of the length, and on rare occasions, certain computers were not able to read from the drive. The cap has no way to permanently attach to the body, so would be just a matter of time before it gets lost. I just took it off and stored it, and in the meantime use the drive with the connector uncovered. Because of the above reasons, I give it 4 stars.
Summary: Very very fast, specially in USB 3.0 mode. The only MAJOR problem this has is the cap. Seriously, why include a cap with the drive if it NEVER EVER stays on. The SMALLEST touch on the thumb stick, the cap comes off. I removed the cap and stored it safely, as you will NEVER EVER be able to use it with the cap....
Summary: I have an XPS gaming laptop with 2 USB 3.0 ports so I decided it was time to upgrade to a 3.0 drive. This thing is fast. I transferred 12 gig of data from the internal HDD to this device at a consistent rate of 90 MB/s. often times peaking at 120 MB/s. That is insane! The whole process took about 15 minutes. When it comes to speed, read or write, this drive delivers. My only gripe is the cap. Poor design causes this thing to pop off if you look at it the wrong way.
Summary: Bought this for easy data backup and retrieval. Works great and USB3.0 is fast. I deduct one star for plastic end cap. I wish it was made out of soft rubber like some others I use making more contaminate resistant but the price is right and serves purpose well.
Summary: Over the last 6 months I have bought several ADATA USB3 sticks. 2-16 GB,1-32GB, and now a 64 GB. Aestetically (that is physical appearance,no moving parts) I like them better than some of the Kigston,San Disk products. All of these various ADATA models are very solidly built, and well designed..though the detachable lose-able cap end will irritate some users. There is no crapware installed on them, a major plus.
