Summary: If you're not having problems with this thing yet, start browsing alternatives. If you're having intermittent problems with connectivity, stop using it and DON'T keep it. Originally in the later months of its first use I had things randomly disconnecting now and then and thought it was problems with...
Pros: Decent price, 10 ports.
Cons: I've lost track of how long I've owned this, but it's possible I've had this about a year though I haven't used it for the past four months. I needed the hub again today for a laptop so I plugged things in and prepared to make use of it. Nothing connected except the hub itself after a good half h...
Summary: Worked when initially connected. But after rebooting the computer, the ports are dead. The light signifies it is connected, but that's the only sign of life. Have disconnected and reconnected.
Summary: If your looking for a well built hub this is it.
Pros: This is one of the best USB Hubs I've owned. The power cable and USB cable were both long enough to allow me to place this directly on my work space. It also used it as a charging station for my Blackberry and my Kindle.
Pros: Some of the USB ports on my motherboard stopped working so I got this as a 'quick fix' to use the rest of my accessories. Works great so far, haven't had any issue. It does use external power but that is great in my opinion, it's very reliable. I have my keyboard/mouse/iphone/headset hooked up, n...
Pros: Works great. Have verified that every port is functioning as intended. Have connected external hard drives, headsets, external speakers, gaming controllers, cameras, multi-format readers, and thumb drives at the same time without issue.
Summary: I have not had this USB hub very long yet, so I'll do another review when I have, but in the meantime it has been great. Steady connection, and lots of power available. Also the way the USB ports are organized makes it great for putting ASIC block erupters on it.
Pros: Comes with a 3A power supply
Powers 7 Antminer U1 ASIC block erupters at the same time, with no issue
Ports are lined up for ease of plugging in devices like ASIC miners (space can be an issue if they are side by side)
Cons: If it had a 4A or higher power supply, I could put all 10 ports to use, but for now I'm relegated to 7 or less (since USB 2.0 devices draw 0.5A).
Summary: I originally bought this as a solution to my problem with occupying all my USB slots on my computer, and it works pretty well when it wants to but not up to my standard. Its good for small USB devices like thumb drives and other low powered devices, but its unstable connection problem makes it...
Pros: -10 USB 2.0 Ports
-Lights notifying a sure connection
