  • Summary: This is a "plug and play" and requires no downloads or program installation by the consumer as it is self contained. Once plugged into USB 2.0 or preferably USB 3.0 the self contained program is automatically set up and instantly recognized by system.

  • Summary: DOA, all ports are dead on usb 3.0, however, they work just fine in usb 2.0. Stay away from this product.

  • Summary: It quit working within one day. I'm not sure if it was because it is just for folks with computers with 3.0 USBs instead of 2.0. I have 2.0 but this unit was supposed to be backward compatible so it should have worked but not sure if this was the reason at all or if it was just defective.

  • Summary: product works very well as expected. My only complaint is that it is almost to light in weight. I used velcro to fasten the unit to a flat surface to keep it from sliding around when using with flash drives. Otherwise, very good product and value for the money.

Completely fine

  • Summary: I like this hub. I like the short cable, as I often use this with either my laptop or my Raspberry Pi. If I need something longer, that's what I have a bin of USB cables for. I think this is a perfectly fine hub.
  • Pros: Read the product description.
  • Cons: I don't adore how far the casing body extends around the ports - seems a little bulky, but meh. More ports would be nice too.

Good hub, short cable

  • Summary: Decent hub, performance-wise equal to the expensive D-Link. Having used both, I found the D-Link flaky, and this one is pretty solid.
  • Pros: Haven't had any issues with this one, works fine for me. Solid hub.
  • Cons: Incredibly short cord (just under 4 feet) will cause you to go mental trying to find a place to put it.
