Summary: I thought the USB busses on my motherboard were broke so I bought this card to fix the problem. It was hard to find a PCI card for USB ports that was compatible with Vista. I was glad to find this one at a great price. It worked great and a strange thing happened. My motherboard USB's started working again. It might have had something to do with inserting the Vista disc and taking the fix option. Anyway, I have plenty of USB ports now which is always a good thing.
Summary: Works perfect for Windows XP. XP SP3 already had the drivers installed. Windows XP SP3 found the new hardware and installed the drivers with no Internet connection. All USB connections work great. Connected a USB mouse and XP SP3 found that hardware and installed the drivers as well. Connected a USB flash drive and that hardware was found and installed. All this was done without connecting to the Internet. Easy to install. Now I have more USB connections. Great!
