Trendnet - 5 Stars; Newegg - 0 Stars

Philip W., Newegg
12 March 2009
  • Summary: This is a rare mistake by Newegg. I have ordered rom them or years and can't remember the last time they made an error in marketing or otherwise.
  • Pros: The device does what it is supposed to do.
  • Cons: Newegg markets this as having an AC adapter included when it does not. They should immediately change their images shown for this produce as others are bound to be deceived by this too.

Good ... enough

Mark E., Newegg
25 July 2006
  • Summary: *Sort of* functions without the power adapter. It worked well without the adapter for about three months, but then started acting flakey. Re-connecting adapter resolved issues.
  • Pros: Gets the job done (for cheap!). It has been fast and reliable for over a year.
  • Cons: Houseing feels flimsy. AC adapter connection is slightly awkward.

  • Pros: None
  • Cons: Poor Quality control of product. Device overheats after 10 min. and stop working. It will work again when it's unplugged from USB and let cool. Though it defeats the purpose of the device. Attempted to contact manufacturer for RMA.

  • Summary: This little USB hub is a little bigger than a cigarette lighter and works like a charm. I simply plugged in the hub into my computer, and it is recognized perfectly. All of my accessories that are plugged into the Hub are recognized with no problems (external hard drive, Ipod, flash drive, and...
