Summary: As long as you're not syncing large volumes of media you'd be perfectly happy with this. Hard to beat for the price.
Pros: It works! Doesn't need external power. Reasonably cheap.
Cons: I don't know how I missed that this was not USB 2.0, especially after looking at the other comments ahead of mine... It's a little slow syncing the iPhone, but not unbearable. Not really a knock on the product as it's really my own fault I didn't see that it was USB 1.1
Summary: issue: ubuntu linux has some issues with usb hubs and i needed to connect 4 sensors via serial-usb adapters (which are typically usb 1.1- trendnet TUS9)... had old zonet usb 2.0 hub before and when opening third com port to read, either it failed or caused another com port to fail...
Pros: able to get 4 streaming channels in ubuntu linux, plug and play for linux
Cons: usb 1.1... to the buyer: read the product specs
Summary: use: four sensors with serial-usb adapters streaming data simultaneously to computer with hub issue: ubuntu linux usb hub handling tends to be a little shaky... (serial-usb adapters typically are usb 1.1)...
Pros: allows 4 streaming communications in ubuntu linux
