Summary: I got this hub because my PC is 3 years old and has 7 USB ports total. This day and age, that's not enough. And since my PC is kind of out of the way, I thought this would come in handy when I want to charge or transfer data from my Samsung Epic. Unfortunately it can't do that! I have my keyboard and Wacom tablet running to this hub and they work fine, but as far as transferring data, I'm stuck.
OK when it works, but beware of D-Link "tech support"

Summary: I already had one of these that has worked fine, and someone recently sent me a new additional hub that came DOA. Then I discovered that D-Link has tragic "support." First I sent the required info on the company's (very poor) web site. I sent the ser. no, my OS (Mac), and the hardware version, along with my contact info. I got back a message proposing that I find a Windows PC to connect the defective hub to (is this 1995?
Summary: Have one of these hooked up to my Airport Extreme router so its single USB port can accomodate a printer and a hard drive. Worked great until the other day, when I realized only one of the little indicator lights was on -- all the ports but one are now dead. Tried disconnecting/reconnecting and no dice. I've been using one of the larger D-Link 7 port hubs separately and it's always worked fine, so I bought this one to supplement it.
