Summary: I'm very happy with this hub. I use it constantly, and it works smoothly, quickly, and reliably. I'm buying a second one, for another computer. I have no affiliation with Belkin or its competitors.
Summary: This PC/Mac, desktop/laptop compatible 7-Port USB hub has been a godsend considering how many products I have that need to be plugged in. It's a very self-explanatory product with clear instructions. It measures 2.75"x 2.75", which is an ideal size, but it's very lightweight and will most likely need to be secured to your desktop or monitor in some way or another to keep it stationary. Other than that, this is a great product for the price.
Summary: This hub came as a small relatively square device 2.75" x 2.75". The design is not too large and so does not take up much space on your workspace. It really does offer 7-ports with the connection between it and the PC done via an included cable. There is also an included power adapter but I have not yet figured out what it is used for.
Summary: This is a very small USB hub that uses USB 2.0 as opposed to the newer USB 3.0 so is slower than it could be. There really are 7 usable USB ports that are powered so you can charge things like your cellphone (my blackberry charged fine). A powered USB hub is great especially for some older devices like some hard drives that won't work on unpowered USB hubs.
Summary: A simple USB hub can answer the need for more ports on a USB-challenged computer. This is the hub to get if that is your situation. Pros: Powered, so it can power external devices that charge through USB (like phones, GPS, iPods) Simple to operate 7 ports Cons: USB 2.0 (might as well start getting ready for USB 3.0) Pricey
Summary: This is a pretty handy USB hub. You plug it into one of your computer's USB ports with the included 3 foot cable, plug in a power cable to an outlet, and voila! - you get seven ports instead of one with up to USB 2.0 speeds. What it's good for: 1) The basic is to multiply your number of ports on your mac or pc. With cameras, webcams, mice, jump drives, scanners, and all manner of other peripherals, it's easy to run out of ports.
Summary: Its hard to compete with Belkin in the USB hub category, considering they make the best stuff out there. This HUB does not disappoint but could use some help. Here is what you get: The 7 port hub, AC adapter, and a usb to mini-usb cable. The hub connects to a standard usb port on your computer (desktop or laptop). You then connect the MINI-USB end of the included cable to the HUB and voila..you are ready to go.
Great USB hub with (too big) universal AC adapter.

Summary: I really like this Belkin USB hub comparing to other relatively no brands I was using. It has 7 ports, of which 2 ports are located on top. These two ports are extremely useful, yet I wish it could have been 3 or 4 since I find myself use it more often for USB thumb drives and connecting to camera. With several USB thumb drives around, it requires more USB ports.
Pros: 1.)Compact and flat design 2.)Universal AC adapter (great for traveling abroad) 3.)Work well with Windows XP pro 4.)Can be stackable on top of each other
Cons: -Universal AC adapter is huge (very awkard for portibility) -If stack 3 more on top of each others-two ports at the bottom would be inaccessible -Too small rubbers at the bottom for skid prevention
