The Hi-Speed USB 2.0 7-Port Hub is design in stackable and slim device with dark grey and white finish. It enables user to monitor the device activity with LEDs for master power status and all port activity. It offers two ports which are suitable for thumb drives, USB lights, or fans; and another five ports at the back. It is capable to transfer data at up to 480Mbps. It is also easy to be installed as it features Plug-and-Play. Furthermore, it works seamlessly with all USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 devices. User can also use it as an optional power supply for laptop. Also, it supports "hot swapping" of all your USB devices. In addition, it also features over-current detection and safety. Other than it was a bit bigger than I pictured it is a very nice high quality piece of equipment just as "bad" as all the other Belkin devices I have purchased and will continue to purchase in the Future. They are priced a bit on the high side but I have yet to have to return a single one of there products that I have been purchasing and recommending over the last 10 years. Read more
I bought to use with my Apple Airport Extreme with AirDisk USB feature. I though my hub will be mostly out of sight, I think it is very portable and versatile, and the the two upfront ports is a nice touch for desktop use. Pretty straight forward dev ... ice. My only vice is no power off button, so I have to unplug the the plug that is behind the device. Read more Less Read more

I really like this Belkin USB hub comparing to other relatively no brands I was using. It has 7 ports, of which 2 ports are located on top. These two ports are extremely useful, yet I wish it could have been 3 or 4 since I find myself use it more often for USB thumb drives and connecting to camera. With several USB thumb drives around, it requires more USB ports. The space between each USB on the back is a bit narrow, and if you have wide USB thumb drive, it may occupy... Read more
