Functional USB Hub

Excerpt: I needed a USB hub to replace the very worn hubs on the computer front panel. I plugged this hub into an empty back panel USB port and went to work. I later used a couple of small velcro pads and attached it to the base of my monitor, so now I can plug what ever in with one hand.
Excerpt: The included cable lets the hub lie flat as I wanted. But the USB connection to my laptop becomes "loose", and I need to remove and replug occasionally.Don't know if it's the plug or my port. The price was right.
Excerpt: The Belkin mobile hub is a lifesaver for adding more USB space to poorly designed pc's. Summary: So far so good. I am able to add my phone. tablet, 2 backup drives a flatbed scanner, a slide scanner and a printer. Everything seems to be running perfectly so far - one external drive though might be suffering some speed issues due to the Hub, but not significant enough for me to complain.
Summary: I bought two of these units to hook up webcams to a pair of Raspberry Pi computers for keeping an eye on my elderly Mom who has Alzheimer's. This hub is on the Raspberry Pi compatibility list and the units I bought have performed flawlessly.
