Excerpt: I needed a USB hub to replace the very worn hubs on the computer front panel. I plugged this hub into an empty back panel USB port and went to work. I later used a couple of small velcro pads and attached it to the base of my monitor, so now I can plug what ever in with one hand. I do wish the USB connector cord that is supplied was maybe 6 or 8 inches longer. the supplied ower supply has way more wire than needed.

Excerpt: I purchased this hub to use with some audio equipment connected to a audio interface that itself was connected to a Macbook . Staples had it in stock which was handy, rather than having to wait for an online delivery. A powered hub was necessary since the equipment requires external USB power to operate and this hub was the cheapest in the store. It functions perfectly for the use it was intended for.
