The Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 4-Port Hub supports Hi-Speed USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices with high speed and low speed respectively. It supports data transfer up to 480Mbps for USB 2.0. Furthermore, it supports "hot swapping" of all USB devices. It comes with a company’s lifetime warranty. It is self-powered and allows cascading up to 127 USB devices to a single port. The four ports can be positioned towards the back of desktop for cable management or towards the front of desktop for port access. It is equipped with a master power LED and port-status LED for each individual port. It can connect up to two devices without a power adapter. In terms of safety, it has an over current detection feature to protect USB devices from damage. It offers Plug-and-Play installation. For personal computer, it supports Pentium® processor-based computer with USB 2.0 port available, Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP and Vista. As for Mac® Users, it supports low- (1.5Mbps), full- (12Mbps), and high-speed (480Mbps) modes on PowerMac which equipped with a USB 2.0 upgrade card and Mac OS 9 to OS 10.
