Belkin FireWire 6-Port Hub is a six port IEEE 1394 interface. It delivers six, peer-to-peer FireWire ports that support data throughput of up to 400Mbps. User enables to connect seamlessly with camcorders, web cams, FireWire storage devices, scanners, printers, and other DV-compatible multimedia devices.

Features

The FireWire 6-Port Hub enables user to connect to FireWire devices such as camcorders, camera, printers and FireWire storage devices. Besides that, it is capable to act as a FireWire repeater which user can place devices up to an additional 15 feet (4.5 meters) from other connected FireWire peripherals. Connecting devices to the Hub using 6-pin to 6-pin FireWire cables enables them to draw power from the Hub, for even easier setup and operation. The FireWire 6-Port Hub delivers FireWire performance at speeds of up to 100, 200, and 400Mbps-depending on the capacity of devices. Moreover, it also connects multiple PS2 devices for head-to-head gaming and up to 6 FireWire devices. Also, user enables to download files at speeds up 400Mbps. In addition, it supports the Open Host Controller Interface (OHCI) standard. Furthermore, it operates in self-powered or bus-powered modes.
