Summary: This product is very robust and does not leak. I have just taken the camera down to 45 meters and did not have any problems with leakage or fogging. The buttons are easy to use even with gloves on. I think there should be a counter wait in this case to give it neutral bouyancy. The case can get away from you. All in all it is a very good and robust underwater case.
Pros: Easy To Use, Functional, Good Depth Range, Water-tight Seals
Summary: It's easy to use, controls all the camera functions and with the diffuser provides good lighting for close subjects. The only disadvantage compared to Ikelite housings for similar cameras is that there is no wired strobe connection. But, adding an external strobe with an optical cable is easy.
Summary: I have used a variety of underwater camera systems over the past 30 years of diving - the Canon digital cameras (especially the G series) are great cameras and the underwater housings is such a nice accessory - easy to use, watertight, and work well with fiberoptic strobes. Whereas a bulkhead attachment with strobes allows for TTL shooting, the trade-off for lightweight and ease of use make up for that disadvantage.
Pros: All camera functions work, Compact, Durable, Ease of Use, Good Protection, Lightweight
Summary: I had the WP-DC28 when I had the Canon G10 and had to buy this when I upgraded to the G12. I haven't used it in earnest yet but it is well built, feels sturdy and the buttons are easy to access, just what's needed at 25 metres under the water. (It's actually rated to 40m).The front glass is nice and clear and the camera feels safe inside this case. The majority of controls are available including full menu.
Conclusion: Rekommenderas, bra utrustning till bra pris.
Jag har dykt och fotat/filmat ned till 20 m, funkar utmärkt, ska klara 40 m.
Tack vara att Canon hade billiga UV-hus så köpte jag Canon G12 endast till det syftet. Nikon hade inga egna hus, bara dyra tredepartstillverkare.
