Summary: The card slid right into my HP Pavilion a1523w-b Desktop PC. The setup was flawless. I am using an HP Media Center Remote Control for Microsoft Windows Media Center Edition 2005. The picture quality is satisfactory. I can watch TV and surf the internet without any glitches. It is the best accessory (hardware) I have added to my PC, to date!
Excellent way to record and watch TV on your computer

Summary: I really enjoy using this product to watch TV and record programs. Works well with Windows Media and WinTV2000. WinTV2000 is a little clunky but records MPEG2 video. With Windows Media it has to be converted to MPEG2, which adds time to making DVDs.
Summary: I bought this tv-tuner to use in Brazil, where I live, and it is compatible with Brazil's PAL-M standard. Great product. Very easy to setup on Vista (no software required!), the IR Blaster works great and so does the remote control. It's kinda hard to figure out which version of the PVR-150 card you need though, but this is the complete package: buy it if you need a remote control, a infrared receiver, and a infrared blaster to control your cable box.
Summary: This thing is incredible. Don't mess with any other brand (I tried a cheaper card (ATI) from a local store and I was sorry I did). Popped this in my system, loaded the software/drivers and I was off and running. I took this one step further and used a video card with a TV out to connect to my television and now I have TV, TV Guide, Net Radio, Video Record, DVD, downloaded moves and music all in one place. The remote is flawless. This is an absolutely top notch card.
Summary: Good product - performs as claimed. I previously used an ATI All-in-Wonder 7500 software based TV/PVR card, which placed a 100% load on my PC and it's CPU when recording (a Dell P4 - 2.4 GHz, 768 MB RAM, 200 GB 7200 rpm HD running Windows XP). I had to shut down all unecessary services and programs just to have some stability when recording, and it would not release all memory when I exited the viewing/recording application. No such problems with the Hauppauge card.
Summary: I use three of these cards paired up with SageTV. The hardware encoding is very efficient and the encoder does a better job then the PVR-250/500 (as far as quality is concerned) Only thing I noticed is that sound tends to be of a lower volume. Extremely reliable and good at what it does.
Summary: I am very impressed with the ease of setup and operation with this item. I tried the "All in Wonder" and had terrible results with compatability. This Hauppauge is a fantastic addition to my pc.
Summary: This thing is great. All channels are clear, sound is great. Check out GB-PVR, its a free pvr software. The interface is easy to use, seting up recordings is simple and intuitive. If you get a bad picture, you might have a dud card. RMA it, for a new card.
