Summary: The card slid right into my HP Pavilion a1523w-b Desktop PC. The setup was flawless. I am using an HP Media Center Remote Control for Microsoft Windows Media Center Edition 2005. The picture quality is satisfactory. I can watch TV and surf the internet without any glitches. It is the best accessory (hardware) I have added to my PC, to date!
Summary: ATTN - WINDOWS VISTA USERS: Despite what is listed on Hauppauge's website, their drivers and software are NOT yet compatible with Vista (as of 4/25/08). I had problems getting my first card to work in Vista back in November, called Hauppauge, and they sent me a new working card (as the first one actually was defective).
Summary: After reading A LOT of reviews from many different sites on different tuners, I went with the Hauppauge PVR-150 (bought two). I was alittle nervous about what the picture quality would be like as I had the WinTV Go Plus and it was not that great. I am extremely satisfied with the picture quality of the tuner. They work great with Beyond TV. I use one to control my cable box.
Summary: This is a good tv card all around the tv quality is very very good the only thing that I don't like is that it won't record direct to dvd from the external imput you have to save it to a file than copy to the dvd this will not act as a video capture card if you want to put your home vhs or cam corder on a dvd. You have to save it in mpeg format first.
Usually does what it is supposed to. But still stuck in the 'rabbit ear' era

Summary: I have had the Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150 for almost 4 months now. While this works more or less as advertised, it is somewhat clunky in the software department. It scans for antenna channels, not the plugged in cable box, the included channel management software doesn't really work there. I have run into problems with it setting itself to a 'zoom' view that I can't always release. The remote and my cable box don't always get along, at best having long delays.
Summary: Good overall turner and remote for PVR functions. Haven't used supplied software as it's on a Mythubuntu system. Works well is completely recognised. Some remote functions don't work but that's the software not the unit. Overall pleased with quality of picture (analog NOT HD). Worked as plug and play, have older WinTV without Mpeg decode/encode and remote, get this one you'll like it. Good price, well handled by Amazon.
