Summary: If you truly promoted your merchandise as to what it can and can not do you might make more money. This device requires some quality graphics capability. I am asking to return it and will find other solutions to watching TV.
Summary: I already own TWO different USB ATSC tuners. One manufacturer originally supported one of those tuners for GNU/Linux, but stopped supporting it after one year. The other tuner was developed for Microsoft's Windows, but a beta driver for the tuner was developed by a third party for GNU/Linux which...
Summary: I'm running Debian linux, just plugged it in and it worked. I opened Kaffeine media player and it scanned for channels, downloaded a program guide without any special configuration. I can receive 19 channels up to 50 miles away using an outdoor antenna I bought for my vhf scanner.
Better TV reception than my TV with the same antenna!

Other than that, this has worked perfectly since installed, got us through recording almost all of the olympics without a...
Works great with Ubuntu / MythTV, once you get through the setup process

Summary: I am using this with an Ubuntu 13.10 / MythTV / XBMC media center, and it works great. My only complaint is that the setup process was horribly painful. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the tuner or with MythTV, but basically, scanning for channels in MythTV rarely detects any stations.
Summary: I installed the device. Not too difficult. It took me quite a while to figure out how to record and play videos. Not intuitive for me. I have Windows Media Center on my laptop which is a much better system than what comes on the tuner disc. Media Center didn't recognize the tuner.
