Summary: Bought this to use with Windows Media Center as part of our cord-cutting strategy. I now have two of them, providing DVR capabilities for our two main TVs. On our main TV I use both tuners with WMC to allow recording of one program while watching another.

Summary: What's not being mentioned here... is that this product not only records movies, but it also "saves movies" to your HDD so you can also make DVD's or Blu-Ray Discs with it, for your own PERSONAL USE! - With outside modifications & connections...
Summary: I hope that Hauppage is able to stay in business and adapt to the ever-changing wims of tech customers.
Pros: I use this tuner in conjunction with Windows Media Center for receiving free over-the-air TV in my city. My O/S is Windows 7 Home. This tuner card has delivered rock-solid performance for the past 5 years. We would definitely buy this tuner again. Zero problems. Recorded thousands of shows of the...

Even the updates you download off their website require that you hold onto the original CD-ROM to prove that you purchased their card. Comp...

Summary: Very good quality in both analog (cable) and digital (clear qam) recording. Win TV 8 is a big improvement over the older Win TV 7 software. Coupled with TitanTV for program listings (included) it is fully adequate. Using this card in Windows Media Center was difficult.
Summary: I've had this tuner for 3 years now in my Win7 AMD 3.3GHz 6 core with 8 Gigs ram and it records 2 channels in 1080p while I'm streaming YouTube videos with no problems at all. And it's actually 4 tuners, 2 analog and 2 digital. I used to use ATI TV tuners, but this is as good as ATI.
Excerpt: Works great with Windows 8.1 Media Center. No problems. I verified that I met all the requirements on the Hauppauge web site. Remote control is great to skip commercials and navigate. I plan on connecting my desktop to my TV for additional replay and watch benefits.
Pros: Easy To Install, Easy To Use, Excellent Graphics
Excerpt: We use this with Windows Media Center (WMC) to record Over The Air (antenna) TV programs. Relative to reception, the tuner appears to be at least as good or better than the best TV we have. We have a single coax lead going into the card feeding the dual tuners in the card.
Pros: 2 Tuners, Easy To Install, Reliable Performance
