Summary: I was looking for this card anyway, and Walmart had a good price and free shipping. The only way to make the card better would be for Hauppauge to step up and make the small investment to deliver quality Linux drivers.
Summary: Installs easily, works as advertised. Very good picture quality compared to my previous turner card in my old XP system. Only negative is the cost, but it does have dual tuners, a feature few others have.
Summary: Instaled the Hauppauge HVR2250 in minutes. It was easy to set up and run the install disc. Everything worked great the first time through. No problems. I've been recording my VHS tape movie collection converting to digital to stream. Very good quality pictures.
Summary: Great picture quality even after I convert & transfer the programs to Apple TV and then watch from the big screen TV in the TV Room. No description for some of the buttons on the remote and to ask how to get Windows Media Center to open instead of their TV window.

Cons: The directions that came with the 2250 left a bit to be desired. I still have not found anything that completely describes the functions of all the buttons on the supplied IR Remote.
