Summary: This Item does all that is promised. I love the quality and it's perfect for newcomers and veterans of game capture devices because it's fast and very handy for capturing those critical moments. Although it does not use hdmi, the quality certainly shows flawlessly. I DO WARN YOU, you need to use a memory storage device. You can get a hard drive or (what I used) a flash drive. Something high speed, and I'd recommend at least 8 gb.
Summary: It's great i use it a lot to capture my epic moments of gaming.I give it 4 stars because it has some flaws and I learned the hard way, first thing is to have at least an HD tv, and a storage device like a flash drive or a hard drive (I currently use an 8 gb flash drive and it works fine but you'll need to tweak with the video and picture options.
Summary: I wanted something to take my ps3 gameplay and record it in HD cheaper than the Elgato and others run. I'm a YouTuber you see, but a very small one. Almost unnoticed even. You can see where I didn't want to make a 180$ investment on something that may never take off. Anyway, I was on the verge of returning it when the thing wouldn't record my games in anything but a 4:3 ratio, 480p definition recording.

Summary: I brought this for my son's birthday. He was excited to record video from his XBOX game play. We received it, unpackaged it and plugged it in. Real easy! Got the recording going with great results. BUT..... BUT through all the reviews that I read, no one talked about the INABILITY TO RECORD AUDIO FROM A HEADSET. My son wanted to talk through the video using his headset. This would bring personality and style to the gameplay. Afterall, who wants to watch just gameplay.
