Launched my YouTube Career! :)

Summary: I used this product to launch my own Youtube gaming channel (LeeoJohnsonTV). A year later, I have nearly 400 subscribers, almost 150,000 views and I am signed to a multi-million dollar YouTube MCN network. I'd be lying if I said most of my success isn't due to Avermedia. This is all thanks to the High Definition quality that the Avermedia C281 allows me to produce. I have experienced almost no issues with this product over the year that I've had it.
Summary: This Item does all that is promised. I love the quality and it's perfect for newcomers and veterans of game capture devices because it's fast and very handy for capturing those critical moments. Although it does not use hdmi, the quality certainly shows flawlessly. I DO WARN YOU, you need to use a memory storage device. You can get a hard drive or (what I used) a flash drive. Something high speed, and I'd recommend at least 8 gb.
Summary: It's great i use it a lot to capture my epic moments of gaming.I give it 4 stars because it has some flaws and I learned the hard way, first thing is to have at least an HD tv, and a storage device like a flash drive or a hard drive (I currently use an 8 gb flash drive and it works fine but you'll need to tweak with the video and picture options.
Summary: I wanted something to take my ps3 gameplay and record it in HD cheaper than the Elgato and others run. I'm a YouTuber you see, but a very small one. Almost unnoticed even. You can see where I didn't want to make a 180$ investment on something that may never take off. Anyway, I was on the verge of returning it when the thing wouldn't record my games in anything but a 4:3 ratio, 480p definition recording.
