Summary: Good points about this card 1.cheap price 2.high quality hardware 3.Very good picture or high quality video 4.Has S-Video, and RCA in puts jacks (good for inputting home movies you would make with a camcorder that use these kind of jacks.) 5.Recording quality, can be set to Mpeg-2, after recording you could burn the mpeg-2 to a DVD disk, or Author it then burn it to a DVD.
Summary: Overall a good basic t.v. tuner card at a cheap price.Cannot view one channel and record another.Good picture but audio problem that I have(sound only works on left speaker)not addressed since e-mail to tech. help... 12 days ago! Connection with wires and software setup correct, but no sound on right channel? Could be hardware issue and no fault with card. So still would recommend card.
Pros: easy to instale.good documentation.
Cons: Mine did not come with all software features as advertised. Namely T.V. guide plus.
Summary: This is a typical ATI entry TV card. With that in mind, I wont compare it with other better TV card out there. Quality is not as good as a PVR-150, but I would say for $25, its very good value. Setup is very easy and the software cover all the basic function.
Summary: Good price and good brand name. Very easy to install and setup the software and easy to use. For device like this, in order to watch TV and recording TV programs, you have to have a power computer with enough memory and space to do it. I am very satisfy with the picture quality and I will recommend it to my friends.
Pros: Very easy to install and setup. Easy to use.
Summary: I had a little trouble getting this tv tuner to work with my computer so it's not as easy as one would say. When I finally got it working, it wasn't that great. I didn't like many of the features and my computer kept freezing up.
Summary: I found this item at Circuit City and thought I'd try it out because it'd be nice to watch TV from my computer. I don't really use it that often, but the features are cool, like see-thru mode etc. It would be nice if it came with a remote control.
Summary: I am using the card on an AMD Athlon XP 2400+ XP Pro SP2 OS with 1.5 gig of ram. The video at times is out of synch by several seconds. Captured video from either the TV or an external analog source is just as bad. Dropped frames are evident during normal TV and during capture. I am familiar with the excellent ATI ALL IN WONDER AGP video card, so I am very disappointed with the TV card’s performance.
Pros: Price, Easy Installation, good TV video
Cons: Video and Sound synchronization Problems with XP Pro SP2
Summary: Works right away on windows xp, TV viewing and recording worked pretty well. Excellent video quality, decent performance. The only complains I have is that there's no remote control come with it and the softeware mpeg encoder slows down the computer when recording. Overall it is a good basic TV turner card. Recommended for starters.
